There is a clearly-defined wall of snow falling and the train is in the middle of it! The train was moving faster than the storm and the train would reach us before the snow. Instead, I settled for this shot at the grade crossing at Palmer Lake. This is BNSF's daily Denver to Pueblo manifest. Here, the double track ends and the single track CTC begins. The single track runs for 32 miles between Palmer Lake and Crews, and there are four sidings along the way to facilitate train meets. I wanted to find a new perspective, so I found this shot of a northbound approaching Bragdon on Main 2. The diverging route in the picture is used when BNSF trains coming out of Pueblo need to cross over to Main 2, or on the rare occasion when BNSF trains run the "wrong way" on Main 2 from Crews and have to cross back over to the BNSF main into Pueblo.
