The steam train is crossing over from Main 1 to Main 4 at CP W511 so it can proceed to Speer and then Denver on the Greeley Sub. Cheyenne has four main tracks (P1 - P4) located outside the depot. Cheyenne is a crew change point and these four tracks are used for crew changes on all trains coming through. Most trains only stop for 10-15 minutes for the crew change, and then continue on their journey. The dispatcher had to work with only three tracks this Saturday, with Cheyenne Frontier Days sitting on P1. An eastbound double stack coming in to town on P2.
