Once there, the crew will drop off the five bulkhead flats and leave them for the Longmont Turn to pick up later that afternoon. Yup, the same Coal Creek found near Blue Mountain along the Moffat! Here, the Buck Local pull forward across the wooden trestle, getting ready to head back to the main line. Typically, this local runs at night. However, due to maintenance on the north end of the main track, the local ran in daylight on this Thursday afternoon!
