In this shot, a BNSF manifest is move from right to left, going from the UP's Glidden Sub to the BNSF Galveston Sub. BNSF trains also cross the diamond in the shot, remaining entirely on the Galveston Sub. Likewise, UP trains cross the diamond on the other track on the Glidden Sub, and KCS trains cross the diamond, but take the diverging route on the left side of the shot toward Mexico. UP's Glidden Sub (originally part of SP's Sunset Route) meets with BNSF's Galveston Sub and BNSF train, such as this one, move from trackage rights on UP's Glidden Sub on to their own tracks on the Galveston Sub. The Galveston Sub also continues on the right side of the shot toward Galveston, TX. Then, in the foreground at the switch, the KCS Rosenberg Sub starts, branching off from UP's Glidden Sub, heading south toward Mexico.
