UP 1957 is one of two SD40Ns (rebuilt SD40-2s) that are currently serving as switch engines in North Yard. The units are both remote control enabled. A single crew member can throw switches in the yard and operate the train from a remote control box. A couple of panels are open on the long hood, and you can see a bit of the prime mover.
