This Swan Ranch Railroad SD40-2 is coupled with WAMX 4200, both waiting to go to work shortly after sunrise. This unit was originally delivered to Canadian National in 1968 as an SD40. The SD40-2 upgrades came later in its life, though it is still an SD40 car body. After years in service on Canadian National, it went to BNSF for several years before winding up here at Swan Ranch.
