A westbound coal empty, led by patched CNW AC4400CW #6716, passes through the new control point, DS004. This control point was added when the new Belt Line Flyover was built. Off to the left, three units sit idling awaiting to be added to the point of a westbound coal empty coming west from UP's Limon Subdivision.

In early 2004, EMD released four SD70ACe demonstrators. These SD70's were "Tier-2 Emission's Compliant", and had AC traction motors. Now, in late 2004, the DC traction motor version (SD70M-2) has been built. The prototypes are GM 74 and GM 75. Here, GM 75 sits in North Yard waiting to head south to EMD's testing facility.
