Four SD70M's (UP 4152, UP 4390, UP 4422, UP 4772) provided the power for the train. The first three units are Phase-I SD70M's with wings and the lightning bolt scheme. Due to the fact that the eastbound needed to make it to Plain in order to change crews, UP 5610 got stuck waiting in the siding at Rollins for 45 minutes.
