I saw this power - two SD60s both being leased to BNSF - earlier in the day near the yard. Now, the units are leading the southbound Denver to Kansas City manifest (HDENKCK-13). The first four tank cars have reporting marks CORX and are filled with beer from the Coors Brewing plant in Golden!

For all the orange units (be it H1, H2 or New Image) that BNSF has on their roster, there are still a fair number of non-orange units to be found on the Joint Line! Here, an SD70MAC and a CEFX AC4400CW leaser unit bring up the rear of a south bound coal load just starting the journey down the Joint Line.

In the foreground, a BNSF manifest heads south on Main One at MP 0.0 on the Pikes Peak Subdivision. In the distance, UP's South Local waits for its turn to head south on the Joint Line to perform its thrice-weekly switching. The strange obstruction at the top of the picture in the HOV ramp from I-25 to Union Station.

UP's South Local sits patiently waiting on UP's Main track leading from Prospect Junction to 20th Street. The local is staring down a red signal (where ownership of the track also switches from UP to BNSF) as the Brush Sub dispatcher has already cleared a BNSF manifest to come out of 31st Street and head south.

In honor of Norfolk Southern's paint scheme, I thought this picture should be in black and white! Two NS units on an "earthworm" train - a unit covered hopper train - enters the LoDo siding for temporary storage. The train is passing one of the many building that has popped up in LoDo in the last few years.

Two southbound coal loads (one stopped, one passing) have high-class lofts as a back drop at 20th Street. The train on the right has two ES44AC's on the point. The train on the left (tied down in the Lodo Siding) has two ES44AC's DPU's on the back. All four units wear the latest BNSF scheme.

A brand new ES44AC leads a northbound coal train into Denver off the Joint Line near MP 0.5. There is a lot of construction going on in this part of Denver right now!
