Yard Shots BNSF
A site that you don't exactly see on a daily basis! BNSF's HKCKDEN (Kansas City - Denver) picked up an Amtrak California F59PH from the testing center outside Pueblo. This F59 came east from California on the Zephyr last September.

This SW1000 comes from Western Rail Leasing. I honestly have no idea where it is headed, but it was sitting all by its lonesome in BNSF's yard.

Twice a day, UP sends units over to the BNSF 31st Street Yard to pick up cars that are to be transferred from BNSF to UP. On this Saturday morning, two GP38-2's and a freshly painted GP15-1 take up the duty as they move past the BNSF roundhouse on the transfer track, headed for UP's 36th Street Yard.

Yard Shots Amtrak
When arriving in Denver from Chicago, Amtrak runs through BNSF's 31st street yard on its way to Denver Union Station. The train must run through the wye at 23rd street (toward Prospect Jct) in order to back into the station. Here, Amtrak is passing near the BNSF engine house. The tower in the distance, once a Regency Hotel, nows holds dormatories for students on the Auraria Campus in Denver.
