In fact, on this particular Saturday, the MNYRO-28 met the MRONY-26 at Cliff. Not only was coal completely missing from the scene, but so was the sound of a four-stroke engine! The eastbound MRONY had two SD70M's, an SD40-2, and a patched SP SD40M-2 for power. The westbound had four SD70M's and they were working hard. The train is creeping along at 18 MPH, and several cars are showing the slowing effort as smoke comes off the super-hot brake shoes.
