The outbound crew for BNSF 6017 have arrived and they are headed over to their train as a southbound Denver-Pueblo manifest rolls by on Main 1. The crew that got off the train told the new crew that BNSF 6017 still has that "new paint smell".

Occasionally, when there is no space in the yard for a crew change, west/southbound coal load will pass through the yard and continue down to the triple track through Englewood and Littleton to await a crew change. Such was the case here as the crew on BNSF 6017 waits for their relief by the Englewood Light Rail station.

A good roster shot of one of BNSF's 25th Anniversary commemorative units sitting on the point of a southbound loaded coal train at Englewood on Main 2. The crew on board has been on board since Sterling, CO and is waiting for a new crew to show up here at Englewood to take the train south to La Junta.

BNSF 6017 is slowing to a stop on Main 2 just north of the signal at Englewood. Here, it will wait for the outbound (relief) crew to show up and take over the train for the trip south to La Junta. The tracks cross Dartmouth Ave and Little Dry Creek, parallel to Santa Fe Drive here.

BNSF's Denver to Kansas City manifest (HDENKCK-07) heads south on Main One on the triple track in Englewood. Meanwhile, several people wait for the arrival of their Light Rail train. Sure wish that kids mom cared enough to keep her kid on the platform!
