In the pre-UP era, that lower target on the signal on the right would display a lunar aspect, indicating a grade (restricting) signal. Today, the yellow G-Plate has been added (indicating a grade signal), and the lower target displays yellow, for a yellow-over-yellow aspect, if a train is going in the hole at Leyden (Approach Diverging). This one came to mind this afternoon! The eastbound coal load is crossing over Kipling Street just miles away from North Yard.
