The units cut away from their train (the HPASSAG) at Broomfield to help pull the Valmont train over Westminster Hill. I've always been a fan of blue, so I particularly like these units. Twenty years later, their paint is still holding up pretty well for the most part! The train, loaded mostly with trucks and hummers, will make its first stop of the day at Broomfield to wait for two southbounds. UP's new Belt Flyover runs over the Front Range Sub in the background.
