Moffat Tunnel (UP) Ski Train
After being delayed by a half hour or so due to a small grass fire, the Ski Train continues west at Plainview. When climbing up toward Big Ten, the crew on the train noticed a small fire near Little Ten at the west end of Rocky. The Ski Train stopped at Clay (because Amtrak was originally going to run around them). However, due to the first, Amtrak got held at Rocky and the Ski Train continued west.

On a beautiful Fourth of July, an eastbound coal load held the main at Plain to wait for a meet with a westbound coal empty. As the empty was pulling into the siding, the eastbound slowly pulled down toward the east switch to continue into town.
