A look toward Little Ten Curve at the west end of the Rocky Siding. The head end power is over a half mile - about 3,000 feet - away from the Winchester & Western hopper visible in the foreground.

Little Ten Curve is one of the few spots that offers the ability to get this type of shot! While the three BNSF GE's are pulling on the front of this Denver to Provo manifest, two more units are pushing on the tail end along the mainline at Rocky.

On the last day of its summer run in 2007, the Ski Train rounds Little Ten Curve at the west end of Rocky. The train is running right on time with no traffic ahead. Note the third unit is smoking a bit more than the others as it is in Run 8, supplying the HEP.

You can see how much the Ski Train has descended in elevation just between Big Ten and the west end of Rocky! The train is currently looping through Little Ten on the main line with a clear signal.
