The back half of the train is on a stretch of track where only UP trains (and Amtrak) can run. But the head end is UP track that includes tracking rights with Amtrak, BNSF, and CPKC! BNSF train have trackage rights on UP's Glidden Sub from Houston as far as Rosenberg. But here, they must turn on to their own tracks.
