The train is making track speed at 70 MPH, but will be slowing down in about a mile as there is a short 20 MPH slow order not far ahead. At least, not prior to this shot! The tracks can largely be seen from I-70 between Glenwood and Grand Junction. However, from west of Parachute (near Una) to De Beque, the tracks and I-70 separate.
