Several of these units seem to have found their way to Denver and are often used in switching service. BNSF 4244 sits near the engine shops at 38th street. The Union Station redevelopment project is going to call for the "commuter tracks" - including Amtrak and the Ski Train - to be lower under ground level within the next five to ten years. A close second is the (very similar) scheme of the 100 "Oakway" SD60 leased to Burlington Northern in the late 1980's. Those units are still on the BNSF today, in relatively good condition! The train run west in the morning (away from the sun) and east in the evening (away from the sun). That's why it is always great to find Amtrak running over seven hours late!
