C&S Junction is actually visible in the distance as seen here from Tennyson Street in Denver. This westbound manifest (the MDENPVO-01) is smoking a bit as it departs westbound. The train consists largely of tank cars coming from the Suncor Refinery in Commerce City. Not the train passing through the High-Wide detector right at the front of the final string of tank cars.

This westbound Denver to Provo manifest has three units on the point and these two DPU's on the back. The train is moving a fair amount of refined gasoline toward Utah. The train is holding at Leyden for a meet with an eastbound coal load.

Always nice to come across different paint scheme, especially here in Colorado where UP and BNSF are everywhere you look! This ES44AC is visiting from south of the border. Ferromex is one of the major Mexican railroads. They seem to share power with BNSF more than UP.

An eastbound coal load, the CWEPAH-28, heads down the main at Leyden on the approach to Denver. The dispatcher has already informed the crew of the train that they should cut out the mid-train swing helpers and put the train back together when reaching North Yard. The crew that will take the train east out of town would be on duty soon!
