It is actually the Golden Switch job. There are several industries that run along the line that have nothing to do with Coors that need to be switched. The train was symboled QDVLJ and QLJDV. It was very common for this train to run with GP30s, GP35s and GP39-2s. Some twenty years later, it was a nice surprise to find a GP30 and a GP35 - both wearing the Yellow Bonnet - heading to town from the Golden Spur. The reason being that this unit was in the consist of the MDVSI-04, getting ready to head east out of town.
