BNSF 844 is one of the few C40-8Ws to wear the New Image scheme as of this date. The train is about to pass underneath US-36 just south of the siding of Broomfield. The special came down the Front Range Sub from Laurel, MT and is ultimately headed back to Topeka, KS (where it originated a few days earlier).
