With the signal now yellow (an Approach aspect), the unit throttle up and start accelerating. These 12 units make four sets of three swing helpers. The first car is AMTK 10001, named Beech Grove and is an Amtrak Business Car. The second car is AMTK 10002, named Corridor Clipper and is an Amtrak Track Geometry Car. This car tests the rails and is capable of accurately testing the rails at speeds up to 135 MPH (which it regularly does along the Northeast Corridor).
