The train is actually jointly operated, being run by BNSF up the Joint Line and west on the Moffat to Grand Junction where it is turned over to Utah Railway. A Utah Railway crew takes the train to Utah Railway Junction (near Helper) where the train is then taken on Utah Railway tracks past Martin up to the Wildcat mine. Roughly once each month, BNSF runs this 75-car coal train west to load on the Utah Railway at the Wildcat Mine near Helper, UT. The train typically makes an early, pre-dawn departure from Denver. Headed for the Wildcat mine on the Utah Railway (near Helper, UT), this coal empty sports a brand new SD70ACe on the point.
