It was painted in a scheme reminiscent of Air Force One. It was so-painted in honor of the George HW Bush Presidential Library, which had a special section on trains (and their history) in America. Nearly three years later, I was finally lucky enough to catch this unit on the point of a manifest approaching Cheyenne on UP's Overland Route. The train will wait for tracks ahead to clear so it can make a crew change before continuing east toward Nebraska. A bit of, ummm, industry is visible in the background from the Dyno Nobel plant! This overpass is right at the east end of the yard. SD40-2 #3150 is sandwiched in between two sets of hoppers as its RCL crew works to rearrange the cars. The train approaching the camera is on Main Two and has just received a fresh crew in Cheyenne. The train to the left is crossing from Main Three to Main Four, heading for a crew change itself.
