The westbound MNYRO heads into the siding at Leyden on a snowy April morning. Three inches of the white stuff fell overnight. The manifest is clearing the main to let the Zephyr run around on its journey west.

Just west of Leyden, the snow is really coming down in a typical Colorado Spring Blizzard. By the time the Zephyr would reach Crescent, there would hardly be a cloud left in the sky and the snow would rapidly be melting.
