Look a little closer! The radiator housing has a higher slope and the compartment that houses the prime mover is a bit higher. This is a General Electric prototype for an engine that complies with the EPA's Tier 4 emissions requirements. The unit (GECX 2022), along with the GE dynamometer test car (#100), are on the way to the Transportation Technology Center east of Pueblo. It is noticeably larger and has a greater slope that previous iterations. The single number board in back is somewhat interesting too. Unlike the popular (with BNSF, anyway) ES44C4 - whose axle configuration is A1A-A1A - this prototype has all six axles powered.
