As I was on the road, I noticed the eastern sky quickly turning an amazing red color. Clouds were scattered across the sky and reflecting the sun beautifully. I decided to stop off at west Leyden to grab a few shots. By the time I arrived, the red had transitioned in to an amazing orange with yellow splashed in. Case-in-point is this shot of rails reflecting the rising sun. The silhouettes of the signals on the main and siding have a cool effect too. Twenty years ago, this would have been "out in the boonies". Now, however, you can also see the silhouettes of the houses built on the north side of the rails (left side of the picture) as part of the Five Parks development.
