Running about four hours late, the westbound Zephyr passes through a great fall scene at Leyden. Most of the trees have lost most of their leaves, but some are still lingering. The Zephyr has its typical consist on this October morning.

The westbound Zephyr is down to only seven Superliner, which is typical as we move in to the winter months. The train is approaching a clear signal (obscured by the tree) at West Leyden. Off in the distance, you can see the hopper on Big Ten Loop.
