AMTK 184, the Phase IV heritage unit, leads a standard Phase V P42DC and an ALC-42 (AMTK 301) in the 50th Anniversary scheme. AMTK 301 has been dropped off at various crew change points so crews can learn and get used to the new units that will be replacing Amtrak's aging fleet of P42DCs. The forecast today called for thunderstorms all afternoon in the Fraser Valley and the meteorologists were spot on today as the rain is coming down hard!
