Three new ES44AC's are being towed DIC (Dead In Consist) on the end of a coal empty leaving Denver on the Brush Sub. In the foreground is UP's Greeley Subdivision, which crosses the BNSF Brush Sub at Sand Creek, just off to the right.

Amtrak 5 is running about 20 minutes late as it clips along at 40 MPH on BNSF's Brush Sub just east of Denver. Even though it is only 7:35am, it is already over 70 degrees out…its going to be a warm day!
