Internally, the unit is just an EMD SD60. However, there are no external walkways. You can walk alongside the prime mover inside the shell of the unit to get to the next unit. Here, the train has stopped just short of Nickel Street on the mainline (in Broomfield) to wait for a northbound manifest on its way out of Denver. I'm not sure why the unit was there as power for the Buck Local typically comes from Longmont. In the distance, you can see the HPASSAG siting on the mainline waiting for a northbound. They are going to meet a southbound at Broomfield which is still nearly two hours away! So, to avoid blocking any crossing, the crew sits and patiently waits. This is a good place to stop as it is close to a new Super Target! Crew can go an get some shopping out of the way while waiting.
