The clouds have broken up enough to offer some nice lighting on the scenery in the distance. The train will ultimately wind up blocking the grade crossing for about 15 minutes while waiting for the westbound UP coal empty it is meeting to come by. My youngest daughter (9) is using my old Canon Rebel XT body to get a few shots of a passing westbound BNSF manifest as the sun just barely breaks through overcast skies. Muddy water has pooled alongside the track as this west BNSF manifest works hard at the grade crossing at Crescent. Overcast skies suggest more rain is on the way.
