The train must run through the wye at 23rd street (toward Prospect Jct) in order to back into the station. Here, Amtrak is passing near the BNSF engine house. They run seven days a week, save for Sundays. The ZDENCHI typically leaves early in the morning and this day was no exception. After meeting Amtrak at Prospect, the Z-Train departed Rennicks and is coming around the wye into 31st Street toward the Brush Sub.
