I think this has to be close to the definition of a Winter Wonderland! A warbonnet SD75M and an Oakway SD60 (which is technically no longer leased by the defunct Oakway) head up the power for a southbound manifest near Blakeland.

Led by four SD40-series units without a wide cab in sight, this southbound HDENKCK-07 is moving relatively slowly at Titan Road.

While there is some clutter in the way in this picture, I like some of the things that are included: The pedestrian foot bridge at Mineral Street, the Light Rail station at Mineral, and the signal bridges at Littleton marking the end of the CTC triple track and the start of the TWC double track (when heading south).

The Westinghouse Electric Corp Schnabel car doesn't even come close to fitting on the bridge over US-85 in Littleton! Make you wonder if the cars on US-85 even gave a second thought to the rather unusual load...

At Titan Road, the train carrying the hydrotreater is in the home stretch on its long journey! It has taken the train 19 days just to run from Houston to Denver. Not a simple operation by any stretch of the imagination!

This southbound coal load, led by BNSF 9909, is about to pass underneath Titan Road, not too far south of Littleton on the Joint Line.

After crossing over to main two at Sedalia, the south local is returning to North Yard. It is currently crossing over County Line Road in Littleton, approaching the end of the track controlled by track warrant. Another two miles up the tracks and the local will be within the triple track mainline controlled by CTC.
