Just south of the siding of Hazeltine, UP's Denver, CO to Green River, WY manifest has a clear signal. 93 cars are being pulled by two SD70Ms.

A work train that came out of Cheyenne is holding in the siding at Hazeltine on its way into Denver (North Yard). The train is waiting for the MDVGR and the MNYNP, both of which came out of Denver at almost the exact same time.

Following on the heals on the MDVGR, the MNYNP is on the approach to Hazeltine with a clear signal. The five units are reasonable, as there are 113 cars on the train!

Tank cars, tank cars, everywhere! Derailed molten sulfur cars span all three main tracks in the Littleton trench. The train derailed the night before.

Crews have managed to dig out this tank car, TCIX 16115, and are working on getting it back to Main 2. The tracks from Main 1 have been completely torn apart.

Crews from Hulcher Services work to roll a new wheel set underneath a badly damaged tank car. Four tractors lift the tank car up so the wheels can be slipped under the car.
