An eastbound light power move highballs west Rocky while a westbound sand train sits on the main at Eisele. Shortly before this shot was taken, the light power moved met the sand train. The sand train has not departed yet because the dispatcher is having difficulty getting the west switch at Eisele to throw from the siding to the main.

After meeting an eastbound at Rocky, this westbound UP manifest (headed for the Craig Branch) now has a clear signal and is starting to pull. With locomotive emissions as efficient as they are these days, it is difficult to tell that all seven of the units on the train are throttling up!

East meets west at the west switch of Rocky. An eastbound BNSF Provo-Denver (which is currently moving compass north) meets a westbound UP PBurg Local (which is currently moving compass south). After the meet, the UP train will pull up and around Big Ten and run on the rail near the top of the frame, up at Eisele.
