UP 4576 leads the westbound MNYPV into the siding at Leyden. The train will be meeting an eastbound coal load (already out of Rocky) before continuing on west. However, on this first day of October, this particular train had BNSF 5720 in the lineup. This was one a pre-production GEVO from GE - in fact, this was the eighth-ever ES44AC produced! The train run west in the morning (away from the sun) and east in the evening (away from the sun). That's why it is always great to find Amtrak running over seven hours late!
