Earlier in the day, this train (the Pasco, WA to Saginaw, TX freight) made its way down the Front Range Sub from Cheyenne. Upon reaching Denver, the crew tied the train down at the south end of Rennicks Yard where it waits for a fresh crew to take it south on the Joint Line.

A long string of well cars sits half-loaded at Rennicks just east of North Yard. The loader in the foreground was sitting, unmoving, at the time of the picture.

After crossing over the UP Main (the Moffat Tunnel Sub) to the BNSF "New North Main" at Utah Junction, this Stockton to Denver manifest (with a nice warbonnet on the point) passes Rennicks on its way toward BNSF's 31st street yard.
