Yard Shots Utah Railway
The fact that Memorial Day is coming up fast and the fact that Utah Railway has more than likely reached their coal quotas for the month of May, the railroad is practically shut down! The four SD50s and one MK5000C seen in this picture are completely shut off, and only two cars sit in the parking lot of the Utah Railway headquarters.

With the Book Cliffs in the background, this eastbound coal empty is highballing the siding of Solitude. Note the interesting nose of the second unit. That is UP 8555, a true 6000 horsepower SD90MAC.
