The plow is based in Alliance, NE, but was moved down to Pueblo in case it was needed after a major Spring blizzard. My understanding is that its services were not ultimately needed. Each Spring, the cars are moved to their summer base in Council Bluffs, IA. This year, the 20 car train had the CNW Heritage Unit (UP 1995) on the point as it made its journey.
