After a quick turnaround in Emeryville, the Zephyr came back east with AMTK 156 and AMTK 66 on the point again (Phase I and Phase II heritage units, respectfully). The train is coming around the base of Coal Creek Canyon near the detector at MP 22.6.

The eastbound Zephyr comes around Big Ten Loop. This is a 300mm shot as seen from Highway 72 across the field. The heritage units look pretty good on the point.

Amtrak recently added another Sleeper to the Zephyr thanks to an increase in demand. That means nine Superliners on the train and a nice looking pair of units on the point!
