Unfortunately, access to the trestle is limited. However, with a little bit of hiking along some ATV roads, you can find your way to this long-lens shot, great for westbounds coming across the bridge. Near the top of the grade, the tracks pass underneath I-70. This shot was taken near that underpass. The tail end of the train is just barely visible over the equipment a few cars behind the power. The jointed rail through this section of track can lead to slower speeds, but the bigger problem is that 49 MPH is the maximum speed allowed in the US along unsignaled track.
