Today, with the ties ready to be replaced, these guys are picking up the ties and loading them onto a platform so they can be taken to the specific spot they are needed. The last eastbound to run over the Moffat prior to a week of maintenance. The track is already out of service from Rocky all the way to Phippsburg. Work crews are slowly setting on the rails in order to start the maintenance. A lot of ties are going to be replaced through this stretch of track between now and October 8th.
