CSX, Norfolk Southern, Kansas City Southern, Canadian Pacific, and British Columbia have all appeared on the Moffat. And just within the last two weeks! Two of those railroads were on this train. In fact, I would say that tank cars are likely the most common type of car found on the Moffat these days. Obviously coal hoppers would have been the obvious choice a few years ago, but the coal drought continues into 2017. However, this is the first time I happened to see one on a UP coal train on the Moffat! It has seen better days, too. A lot of the paint is chipping and pealing.
