That trainset is actually the Winter Park Express! The Zephyr set out the WPE on Trak 5 at Union Station. The Zephyr then put its power back on the train on Track 4. AMTK 142 and AMTK 192 will be the power for the Winter Park Express, at least at the start of the season. It is a rather cold 15°F (-10°C) on the platform at Union Station this evening. CP 7020 is an SD70ACu, and in fact started life as an SD90MAC! Progress Rail rebuilt 60 of them for Canadian Pacific (and 100 for UP SD9043MACs for Norfolk Southern). The units were unveiled on Remembrance Day (Canada's version of Veterans Day in the US). This is the signal that protects the north departure from North Yard toward either the Moffat or the Belt Line. In this case, UP 8200 is waiting for a signal to head on to the Belt Line and out to Hazeltine where it will pick up a string of empty auto racks. A crew works to unload some containers off a train as a baretable (empty well cars) train arrives, led by a BNSF C44-9W. Indeed, the truck from one of the passengers cars has been removed from the car itself.
