There is some rain in the area as the next week is predicted to bring a LOT of precipitation in Colorado. The train is moving at a descent clip...in fact, if you look closely, you can see a bit of coal dust blowing off the hoppers on the left side of the shot. Several years ago, Watkins was going to be the location of a new UP Yard (relocated from 36th Street in Denver). However, as of 2010, those plans have not yet come together.
