Like its ES44C4 ancestor, this unit is an A1A-A1A unit, with only the outside axles on either truck being powered. This is a specification that BNSF is absolutely in love with. It departs from either yard on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's. More often than not, it is dark when the train makes it to Colorado. On this Tuesday, however, the train happened to come east in the morning. And with an interesting power configuration to boot! Loved the five SD70s (two SD70ACes and two SD70Ms) leading the train.
