The trains is coming from the Lafarge Cement plant, seen to the left, and is headed back toward the mainline at Rocky. Well, yes, although it is not quite wearing the proper colors…twenty years ago, who would have imaged a train on the Moffat that included a Kansas City Southern T-2 in the consist? Such was the case on this morning as the eastbound Provo to Denver heads east out of Rocky while a train they just met heads west around Big Ten in the background. The Kansas was at Burnham being repainted. By January 14th, the paint job had been completed and the car was back in service looking very sharp!
