The train left Grand Junction at 7am on July 22 and absolutely flew east toward Denver. I got this picture of the train coming through Leyden three minutes before 1pm. After a brief crew change in Denver, the train headed north up the Greeley Sub and stopped in South Morrill, NE for the night. The city of Broomfield is in the process of connecting 120th Avenue and CO-128. Doing so means constructing an underpass beneath BNSF's Front Range Sub.
